Roots Festival Engagement 2025

At a nature-inspired festival, I had the pleasure of running a workshop that explored the connection between craft and the natural world. We focused on how creativity can be inspired by nature, and participants made flower- and animal-shaped lavender bags using natural materials and calming scents. It was a wonderful, hands-on way to celebrate the beauty around us. As part of the session, I also taught children the basics of sewing—many of them picking up a needle and thread for the first time.
